We had a wonderful week in Newport, it has more than met our expectations, There are so many great place to eat here such as the Kitchen Garden, the Golden Lion, and the Canteen. It has been great to explore the surrounding area and Fishguard and Cardigan, We particular recommend the boat trips run by the company "a day to remember"who provided a friendly and entertaining tour of Cardigan Bay and showed us the local wildlife ( no dolphins though) Two good beaches int he locality are Newport sands and the more sheltered cove of Cwm Yr eglwys,It is a beautiful part of the world here in Pembrokeshire The cakes at Morawelon on the Parrog are brilliant!!!

Great cottage in a great location. Enjoyed Cnapan and Golden Lion in Newport, book early or get there before 12.05 for a table! Enjoyed cycles, walks and sightseeing and a good day getting drenched at Oakwood. "my best thing was going on speed at Oakwood and going down a huge mountain on my bike"Elsa

Fantastic location, enjoyed many an hour enjoying the wonderful views from the patio. The kids had great fun on the local beach and the "iron age fort"(and a couple of rainy occasions in the cinema in Cardigan), Wjilst the adults enjoyed a daily walk up the "mountain of angels"-left after the cottage gate-superb views! The town of newport is filled with friendly people who are always quick to offer a warm welcome, We had several meals in the Golden Lion and enjoyed the local Antique shop. Also recommend the butchers shop-top sausages!, All in fabulous holiday. p.s Bessies pub on the other side of the mountain is very quirky Bessie gave us a hearty welcome and a pint of the best, Food for thought cafe in Cardigan excellent value for lunch.

What a lovely place to have a holiday peace and quiet for a week, and comfy beds. Great fun was had by all paddling and exploring the rockpools at the beach.

A fantastic week! Lovely cottage and great weather. Thank you!

The Biltons

What a lovely, warm and inviting cottage. Just as we imagined from the brochure. Ideal for a family of 4 with a dog! Beautiful setting, fuel much appreciated, clean and comfortable. We have come here for a different Christmas experience and so far so good. Will keep you informed. We have had the most magical special Christmas ever. Lots of walks on the beach and up in the hills. It has been fantastic both the children have enjoyed the experience - epecially their gallery bedroom. I was nervous of cooking a traditional Christmas dinner away from home - but have found all the utensils, pots, pans and cooker to be more than adequate. Nothing can be better than sitting down in front of a real fire with a glass of wine. Thanks.

The Wheatley family, Lancashire

very cosy and a beautiful setting. A fantastic view of the beach and newport can be seen from the top of the hill at the back. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, shame about the weather though!

We've had another smashing week here-it's such a lovely cottage-how can we fail to enjoy? We can really recommend the bar meals in the pub at Nevern- and a visit to see the seals at Moylegrove!

Buff and Jen, Somerset

We had a lovely stay. So peaceful, lovely walks, was a bit cold at times but it is December and very frosty, open fire made all the difference.

Falk family, Bristol

Lovely location for coast and mountain-plus shops and pubs.

Idyllic location- no phones, no traffic- only bird song and stream. Seven days of glorious sunshine. Bliss!!
